Why we do it

For all of us, and especially for new parents, day-to-day experiences are rife with milestones, mystery, magic, and even mistakes. In those vulnerable and exciting early years, connections are essential: to like-minded people, your Jewishness, your mental health, your community–and your identity.

Guess what? Helping families create and maintain those connections is what we’re all about. Pomi makes it easy to access hyper-local, high-quality events and programs, providing opportunities to:

We aim to provide spaces for families to convene and grow, parenting resources and expertise from the people and organizations serving Jewish families across the Greater Boston area, and stellar, swoon-able content and programming worthy of your little bundle of joy.

Greater Boston families? We see you.

Since 2009, CJP and JCC Greater Boston have partnered to engage families meaningfully with their community and Jewish identity. Over the past 14 years, programs like Welcome Baby! and PJ Library allowed us to combine our superpowers, reach out, and help thousands of young families feel the love and support of their Jewish community—and we want to do more! We know we need to help create even more convenient spaces for high-quality, meaningful experiences for you. Hey, we thought, we’ve got the resources, the know-how, the history, imagination, and drive to fill in the gaps and help families feel more connected to their community, their Jewishness, and each other—and in April 2023, Pomi was born. We couldn’t be prouder of this partnership and all the joy that awaits.
